Your role as a physical therapist is to maintain, improve, or restore strength, mobility, coordination, balance, and functional movement patterns in the human body.
Your treatment plan is based on your patient’s functional, mobility, or activity limitations. You will supplement a wide variety of physical therapy treatment techniques with natural physical stimuli (e.g., heat, cold, pressure, radiation, electricity) and the appropriate selection of equipment to thereby promote the patient’s own active participation.
The close link between theory and practice and early collaboration with patients are hallmarks of your training at our vocational school for physical therapy.
