Many therapists would like to gain greater confidence, expertise, and background knowledge regarding the assessment and treatment of patients with neurological impairments.
The Neurorehabilitation module series is designed to be practical, diverse, and evidence-based, ensuring that therapists in both outpatient and inpatient settings are equipped with the prerequisites for meaningful and promising treatment, as well as with up-to-date background knowledge on neuroscientific, functional, and neurophysiological aspects.
Each individual training course focuses on a specific topic, incorporating a wide range of recognized treatment concepts as well as modern, evidence-based assessment and therapy methods.
These are presented, supported by clinical examples and evidence of efficacy, and discussed.
The content of the training courses is based on the latest advancements in neuroscience. All seminars include in-depth theoretical explanations, practical exercises through demonstrations and hands-on experience, workshops, patient case studies in informative videos, and resources for self-training programs. The latest therapeutic products, specifically developed for neurorehabilitation, are presented in workshops or brief demonstrations.
Participants receive a comprehensive set of course materials, ensuring that the content can be reviewed later in a clear and straightforward manner. The course materials include references to relevant professional literature and useful links for online research. During the three-day practical workshop, the exercises are filmed, and participants may use the video recordings for their personal use. In addition to generating ideas and suggestions for targeted treatment implementation, the module also places great emphasis on teaching valid, reliable, and practical assessment procedures based on ICF criteria. The “Neurorehabilitation Module Series” is appropriately rounded out with this exclusively practical module, “From Practice – For Practice.”
