Introduction to the Theory and Practice of Neurofeedback According to the Othmer Method.
An increasing number of clinics are successfully using neurofeedback as a therapeutic component in the treatment of various disorders, such as ADHD, autism, epilepsy, migraines, depression, anxiety, and sleep disorders.
Neurofeedback is a form of biofeedback in which the patient learns to comprehensively influence their brain functions and thereby improve their brain’s ability to self-regulate. The procedures and systems are now technically mature and scientifically validated. The systems are very easy to use and are approved as medical devices.
The seminar covers the theoretical foundations of neurofeedback as well as its practical application. You will work with a partner in pairs using the systems provided. The focus is on the method developed over the past 25 years by the EEG Institute under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Othmer.
The seminar is intended for individuals with therapeutic experience who are interested in neurofeedback and wish to learn about this approach—known for its high efficiency—in both theory and practice. Upon completion of the seminar, you will be able to implement neurofeedback directly in your practice.
At our academy, we work with the Othmer Method and use BEE Medic devices with Cygnet software.
